Too many brothers
And too many sisters
Seem to grow so weak
When it’s time to sing
That old salvation song
Though there may be
Someone standing there
And needs to hear Him speak
They just lower their voice
And slowly mosey on

Well, I’m glad things didn’t go that way
Up on Calvary
And at the last minute
Jesus didn’t lose His nerve
Though He went on to do
What He had to do
And that what He expects of you and me
Yeah, we’ve got no choice
But to go and spread the word

Stand up and be counted
You will be hеard above the noise
If you boldly shout it
Sing with your own voicе
And don’t you be afraid to say it
And don’t you try to hide
That candle that’s burnin’ in
That Word you’re feelin’ inside
It’s that gospel light
It’s that gospel light

And remember that Jesus said
Tell all the nations, tell all the nations

So, the next time
You’re standin’ on a crowded corner
Or walkin’ down the street
And I need someone
Who needs to get it right (with Jesus)
Lord, give me the power
Won’t You give me the strength
Yet the gates of hell
Will not close out the light
