Solomon's Wisdom – DJ H-387 Project Letra
On Solomon's throne in Jerusalem, young and wise he sat
Seeking guidance from above, his heart filled with great fate
Not gold or power he desired, but knowledge pure and true
To lead his people well, to find the path that God would brew
Solomon, the king of peace, the judge of all the land
With a mind far greater than the weapon in a hand
The wisest man to walk the earth that history ever knew
Through the ages, all the glory of his name forever grew
Two women brought a child to him, one dead, one still alive
He asked for a sword to split them, to show who truly loved
The real mother cried: No, save my son! And he did so
With justice clear, Solomon's name rang through and grew
He built the Holy Temple, a house of God's delight
Cedar, stone, and gold, a sight to set your heart alight
From far, the Queen of Sheba came to see his wonder
Riddles and wonders, in his palace she found her ponder
Proverbs three thousand, songs of beauty and of grace
He spoke of nature's creatures, birds and beasts in sacred space
From trees to rivers, his words flowed like a river
His wisdom known far and wide, a legend for ever
Yet in his wealth and splendor, Solomon's heart went astray
By foreign temptations, his wisdom did sway
Though shadows tried to hide his legacy, the truth remained
Higher than his crown, the fear of God was his aim
Solomon, the king of peace, the judge of all the land
With a mind far greater than the weapon in a hand
The wisest man to walk the earth that history ever knew
Through the ages, all the glory of his name forever grew
